There are few things as impressive as seeing one of the Turutortu for the first time. While they are not as big as the Cyclops or the Oni, they somehow seem just as big. There are no other ancestries that come close to the sheer size of one of the Turutortu. Easily close to a foot taller than the average human, most other people can’t begin to comprehend the weight of the Turutortu, about 500 pounds. Despite this massive weight, the Turutortu can be graceful, especially under the water.
The Turutortu are a nomadic people, traveling from island to island. They are considered by most to be jovial people, quick to laugh, and just as quick to forgive. Don’t let their peaceful nature fool you as they are accomplished warriors. They are often covered in tribal tattoos on their faces and arms, a way to show their status and prowess.
The Turutortu are based on Maori and Pacific Island culture.
