Nasekostvo are an almost alien ancestry to the rest of the world. Their large size is imposing enough, but their hard chitinous armor and insect-like appearance make it hard for other people to interact with them. If that wasn’t different enough, the extra set of arms they have, while making their life easier, often make interaction with others harder. Add to that that many of the other people still harbor resentment toward the Nasekostvo from the last invasion, when the Nasekostvo were still part of a hive mind.
The Nasekostvo live in tight communities where all work together for the good of the community. They are learning how to work together without being compelled to work by a more powerful mind. They have created hive-like communities that are on the bottom of the sky continents and have created a somewhat reliable system of interacting with the surface. The Nasekostvo often find it easier to deal with the surface as they don’t have lingering issues from the last great invasion since the Nasekostvo didn’t bother with the surface world previously.
The Nasekostvo are based on late medieval Russian culture.

Nasekostvo lineages are unique to the nasekostvo people.
Nosorog
Nosorog, or Rhino, are the base workforce of the Nasekostvo. While all Nasekostvo are able to burrow through the ground with ease, the horns on the head of the Rhino Nasekostvo let them more easily dig through hard rock for the ores and supplies that they use each day.

Olen’
Olen’, or Stag, have become the defacto guards and soldiers of their people. Their ability to grab hold of people with their horns means that they can detain others instead of more violent means.

Skarabey
Skarabey, or Scarab, are the craftsmen of the Nasekostvo. While they were once the backbone of the invading forces, since their independence, they have learned to mold dirt and stone into homes and beautiful works of art.
Rebirth. When your hit points get reduced to 0, but you don’t outright die, you may immediately roll a death save. On a success, you gain 1 health and are stabilized. If you fail, you don’t fail a death save but can’t use this method to stabilize yourself until you finish a long rest. You can use this trait a number of times equal to half your Endurance rounded up (minimum 1) per day.
You regain the uses of this trait at the end of a long rest.
Ognennyy
Ognennyy, or Fire beetles, have always been outliers. With their recent liberation, they have spread further out than others and have ventured more to the lands of other people. Because of that, they are often hired as guides through the Nasekostvo lands, the dull glow they give off helping those without means to see in the dark underground.
Glow. You can cause your abdomen to glow at will shedding dim light in a 30 ft. radius.
Fire Spray. You have a number of fire spray charges equal to your Endurance + 1/3 your character level rounded down. For 4 AP, you can spray a target with your fire spray, up to 10 ft away, doing 1d6 acid damage for each charge you use. You regain all charges after a long rest. The target must roll a Mobility (Agility) defense equal to 8 + your Endurance + half your level.
Bogomol
Bogomol, or Mantis, are generally thinner and more lithe than other Nasekostvo. They served as scouts in the invasion before, and still act as scouts for their people now. Mantis Nasekostvo still have a hard time dealing with other people, their scythe-like arms giving them a menacing appearance.
Scythes. Your primary limbs are long powerful weapons that do 1d8 slashing damage. These limbs are not suited for delicate uses.
