The Woodsman is a master of the wilds. While not always found in a forest, the woodsman is an expert in any untamed land, from frozen tundra to arid deserts. They excel at living and surviving in these harsh environments and are often found guiding others through the most dangerous lands in the world. You are an expert tracker and survivor, for whom the wilderness is not an obstacle, but a home.
When it comes to the natural world, you are its master. Your purpose is to be the party's unrivaled survivalist, the one who can keep the group alive and on the path. You can track any animal, or even people, and you know every useful tree, bush, and flower. You are able to move easily and unnoticed through the land, allowing you to navigate the wilderness with an expertise no one else can match.
For a woodsman, Acuity is one of the most important attributes. Beyond that woodmen might focus on Endurance to help as they move in the wild lands, or Agility so they can move more quickly as they track their prey. Most woodsmen grew up in the wild as Outlanders, and a few as Hermits that had to survive in the wild. Folk Heroes tend to live at the fringes of cities or towns and sometimes leverage their knowledge of the land to become woodsmen.

an explorer’s pack
(a) cartographer’s tools or (b) a herbalism kit
Tracker’s Mark
You choose a creature you can see within 60 feet and mark it as your quarry. You have advantage on any Awareness (Acuity) – Perception or Survival (Acuity) – Tracking rolls you make to find it. This effect last for 24 hours unless you find evidence that the creature has been in an area.
Natural Explorer
You are particularly adept at traveling and surviving in the wild. You gain the following benefits in natural terrain.
You remain alert to danger even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling, such as foraging, navigating, or tracking.
You can move stealthily at a normal pace.
When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.
Land's Stride
You can pass through nonmagical plants and terrain without being slowed by them and without taking damage from them if they have thorns, spines, or a similar hazard.
Hide in Plain Sight
You can spend 1 minute creating camouflage for yourself. You must have access to fresh mud, dirt, plants, soot, and other naturally occurring materials with which to create your camouflage.
Once you are camouflaged in this way, you can try to hide by pressing yourself up against a solid surface, such as a tree or wall, that is at least as tall and wide as you are. You gain a +10 bonus to Stealth (Acuity) - Hide checks as long as you remain there without moving or taking actions. Once you move or take an action or a reaction, you must camouflage yourself again to gain this benefit.
Feral Senses
You are aware of any creature within 30 feet of you, just not it's exact location, provided that the creature isn't magically hidden from you and you aren't blinded or deafened. Also, you can't be tracked by nonmagical means, unless you choose to leave a trail.
